What skills could you bring to our TMO Board or committees?

Since the inception of the Tenants Management Organization at Webber & Quentin in 2017, a group of volunteers have joined forces to manage the Board and Subcommittees looking at repairs, events and engagement, gardens and grounds, finance and HR. The TMO is responsible for the staffing and management of the TMO Office led by Siraj Islam based at the Portacabin near the Quentin Estate.

The TMO is not part of Southwark Council. Its Management Board and committees are all made up of volunteers who live on the estate. This group relies on the talents of local residents to make positive change and help direct investment towards the most important services and activities provided to residents.

A range of projects need support from helping to organise social events, gardening, co-ordinating repairs, communication, managing our website, marketing, HR, finance and writing funding bids.

If you have skills in any of these areas, or if you just have ideas and want to help improve our estate, then we’d love for you to get more involved.

You will be joining a team of motivated individuals who are bound together by a common belief that by caring a little bit more, bringing focus and some hard work – we can make good things happen.

Residents can come to any of the committee or board meetings as an observer, to see what it’s all about and decide if you want to get involved. If you’re interested, please email: secretary@webberandquentintmo.org
