Tier 2
Dear friends,
As I’m sure you are aware, the national restrictions that came into force in early November end on Wednesday 2nd December, and will be replaced with regional tiers.
London is moving into Tier 2, and is classed as having a High rate of COVID-19. This means we all must carry on taking care, following public health advice, and helping to keep our friends, families and neighbours safe this winter.
Key message:
1. Infections across London are still too high. It’s vital Londoners help reduce the virus to avoid further escalation of restrictions or another lockdown.
2.London’s businesses have had a difficult year and we should support them. Many are ready to reopen and have worked hard to make it safe for customers.
3.Shop safely. Wear a mask. Keep your distance. Sanitise your hands. Plan ahead to avoid busy times and walk or cycle where possible.
4.Socialise responsibly. Follow restrictions on household mixing in hospitality venues and for business meetings. Follow the rule of six. Meet others from beyond your household or bubble outdoors.
5.Be considerate of fellow Londoners. Play your part to help protect lives and livelihoods during December and through the winter.
